Title: Excavation Estimator / Project Manager Salary: $90,000 - $115,000 (Salaried) Location: Draper, UT Are you ready to take the lead on high-impact excavation and site development projects? We're looking for a highly organized, detail-driven Excavation Estimator / Project Manager to join our dynamic team and play a key role in shaping the ground-up success of our construction initiatives. In this dual-role position, you'll not only prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates but also manage projects from concept to completion - ensuring we deliver on time, on budget, and beyond expectations. What You'll Do: Estimating Responsibilities: Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates for excavation and civil site projects. Review project drawings, specs, and other documentation to create complete bid packages. Source and analyze subcontractor and supplier pricing. Identify cost risks and propose strategic solutions. Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain strong, transparent relationships. Attend pre-construction meetings and conduct job site visits as needed. Project Management Responsibilities: Lead excavation projects through all phases, from planning to closeout. Coordinate with crews, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely and quality execution. Maintain control over budgets, schedules, change orders, RFIs, and documentation. Monitor project progress, report status updates to leadership, and flag potential risks early. Perform project debriefs to continuously refine estimating and execution processes. Proficiency with estimating and project management software (e.g., B2W, WinEx Grade, Bluebeam, MS Project). Strong blueprint reading, contract analysis, and documentation skills. Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation abilities. Self-starter mindset with strong organizational and analytical thinking. Valid driver's license and willingness to visit job sites as required. Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project).
