We are actively seeking motivated individuals to join our Hagerstown, Maryland office as Civil Engineers . This is an immediate opportunity for candidates eager to contribute to a dynamic team and work on a diverse range of civil engineering projects. The position involves preparing site civil design plans, drafting, and performing various engineering calculations. The selected candidate will support infrastructure design projects, including water, sanitary sewer, storm drain, stormwater management systems, site grading, roadways, and erosion and sediment control. The role also includes preparing drawings and specifications for civil works projects for both public and private clients. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate on a wide variety of projects including conceptual site plans, office buildings, institutional facilities, housing/apartment developments, commercial buildings, and other civil/site structures. Prepare design documents such as construction drawings, bid documents, and technical specifications for site/civil projects including: Stormwater and drainage systems Asphalt and concrete pavements Grading and topography Other related site features Utilize computer software for spreadsheets, word processing, scheduling, and engineering design. Apply engineering software such as AutoCAD, Carlson Civil Suite, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS (preferred). Ensure compliance with federal, local, and industry engineering codes and standards. Apply core civil engineering concepts and best practices to deliver effective solutions. Preferred Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution or equivalent practical experience. Significant experience in civil engineering design, analysis, and project management. Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required. Proficiency in AutoCAD. Comprehensive experience in site development including: Water distribution and sewer collection systems design Floodplain analysis Parking lots and roadway design Stormwater management and grading Erosion and sediment control Ability to independently perform technical calculations and prepare detailed construction documents. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Professional demeanor and ability to collaborate effectively with clients, colleagues, and cross-functional teams.
