Estimator (Mid-Level) Responsibilities: Prepare detailed cost estimates for bridge, highway and utility construction projects. Analyze project plans and specifications and understand the construction process necessary to complete the work and prepare an accurate bid. Collaborate with project managers and clients to determine project requirements. Create scoping documents, level subcontractor bids to determine best value, negotiate with subcontractors and vendors to get the best price. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or significant, relevant industry experience. Minimum 5 years of combined field and construction estimating experience. Strong analytical and mathematical skills. Proficiency in estimating software.
