Estimator Location: Greenwood, SC Reports To: Sales Management Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Estimator to join our growing team in Greenwood, SC. This role is essential to preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for modular home projects. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with sales, engineering, procurement, and production teams to support successful project planning and execution. Key Responsibilities: Analyze architectural plans and specifications to determine material, labor, and equipment requirements Develop detailed cost estimates and pricing proposals for modular construction projects Source and manage current pricing information from suppliers and subcontractors Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on project scope and cost considerations Conduct cost breakdowns and variance analyses for budgeting and process improvement Maintain and update estimating tools and databases for accurate forecasting Support bid presentations and contribute to overall project planning Perform other related duties as needed Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong analytical and mathematical abilities Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical documents Excellent verbal and written communication skills High attention to detail with strong organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment Familiarity with construction industry practices and estimating software Strong team collaboration and vendor communication skills Physical & Environmental Requirements: Physical Activity: Frequent sitting, computer use; occasional walking and factory visits Manual Dexterity: Ability to handle plans, tools, and digital devices accurately Mobility: Capable of transitioning between office and production floor environments Vision & Hearing: Clear vision for reading documents and screens; adequate hearing for meetings and communication Environment: Primarily office-based with occasional exposure to factory conditions; fast-paced and team-oriented setting Compensation & Benefits: We offer competitive pay, a collaborative work culture, and comprehensive benefits.
