We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our Winchester, VA team in building high-quality grout mixers, pumps, and cement silos. This position involves reading and interpreting engineering blueprints, operating metalworking machinery, fabricating components, and ensuring quality standards. Job Type: Full-time 8 hour shift Day shift Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee assistance program Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Referral program Retirement plan Vision insurance Primary Responsibilities Read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings Construct base templates as needed Measure and mark metal cutting/bending lines Set up and operate fabrication machinery (e.g., rollers, drill presses, flame cutters, shears, brakes) Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components Grind, finish, and inspect completed parts Complete job and inspection reports Adhere to company and OSHA safety standards Operate company vehicles, including heavy-load trucks (local/regional/national travel may be required) Secondary Responsibilities Assemble and test large industrial equipment Service and maintain rental equipment (grout pumps, silos, mixers, etc.) Paint equipment and parts Clean and prep rental returns (grout chipping, pressure washing, etc.) Assist with general shop upkeep Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and hand trucks Support inventory control through cycle counts Qualifications Required: High school diploma or GED Proven experience in metal fabrication Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints Proficient in using fabrication tools (shears, flame cutters, rollers, etc.) Strong organizational and multitasking skills Effective communication and troubleshooting abilities Valid state driver's license DOT eligibility (may include operation of vehicles like F550 trucks) Willingness to travel as business needs dictate Preferred: AWS certification or advanced welding experience Experience assembling and testing large industrial machinery Knowledge of manufacturing procedures and quality control Experience with basic computer systems or work order tracking (a plus) Own basic hand tools (company may supply specialized equipment) Physical & Work Environment Requirements Ability to lift/move objects up to 75 lbs and carry up to 50 lbs Stand for extended periods; frequent bending, crawling, climbing, and reaching Tolerance for hot, cold, and loud environments (indoor/outdoor) Regular use of PPE: respirators, gloves, steel-toe boots, hard hats, etc. Repetitive wrist, hand, and arm motions Must be able to distinguish colors (for tasks like painting or safety identification) Why Join Us?
