A Construction Project Engineer is needed for a leading manufacturing organization. The Construction Project Engineering will to join the team supporting construction standards and specifications for North American facilities. This role will lead the development, review, and improvement of construction documentation, working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure quality and consistency across projects. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and experienced in managing technical standards in a construction or engineering environment.
The position requires at least 5 years of experience working with construction standards/specifications, preferably within an AE firm or construction planning setting. A bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management is required. Candidates should have communication and project management skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam or similar software.

- Coordinate with external firms to develop and maintain construction standards/specifications for north American facilities
- Lead workgroup meetings to review drafts, gather feedback, and revise documents accordingly
- Present standards and proposed changes to upper management for review and approval
- Create and manage annual schedules, tracking progress and reporting status monthly
- Analyze change requests, major breakdowns, and feedback to implement lessons learned into future revisions
- Provide support for construction-related studies, including utilities and renewals
