Labor Foreman I (EQ)

PURPOSE AND NATURE OF WORK

Oversees grounds and equipment maintenance at the Closed Landfill and around the Recycling Office. This includes prioritizing and scheduling when work needs to be completed. Primarily operates a tractor with 15-foot bush hog, but will operate other related equipment.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

Completion of the eighth school grade, and experience in the maintenance, repair, and minor construction of drainage projects; or any equivalent combination of training and experience.

NECESSARY SPECIAL QUALIFICATION:

Must have a valid drivers license to apply.

Valid Louisiana Class E drivers license prior to appointment required.

TYPE OF EXAMINATION:

Examination will be a performance test operating a tractor with a 15-foot bush hog.
