Our Coastal Southeast Service Center located in Orlando; Florida is looking to add an Estimator to our team. This will be an on-site role reporting to the Customer Success Manager.

What would you do as our Estimator?
You would play an integral role in ensuring the success and satisfaction of our valued customers. You will be the liaison between our manufacturing centers and our customers. You will review technical drawings and blueprints, prepare estimates and quotes utilizing existing pricing information as it relates to doors, frames, hardware preparations, shipping, and project requirements.
You would also:
Ensure the timely processing of customer quotes, ensuring accuracy and pricing.
Understanding production capacity and capabilities of each Assa Abloy Door Group entity.
Verify technical drawings and templates for accuracy, manufacturing requirements, specification and coordination of hardware.
Have a working knowledge of all relevant Door Group brands.
Drive Quote follow up process, prepare documents as necessary to compute hit rate and customer metrics.
Develop relationships with customers to assist them with their project needs.
Understand and be able to assist in the workflow process from quote to order entry through shipping.
Perform other responsibilities as required.
What we are looking for:
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Minimum 3 years estimating experience, or 1 year estimating in the hollow metal door industry.
Experience with direct customer and contractor communication is desired.
General understanding of the construction industry, exposure to the commercial construction industry.
Exposure to building codes and labelling requirements.
Previous exposure to reading blueprints, shop drawings or specifications is desired.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, follow-up and a high comfort level balancing multiple priorities simultaneously.
Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, as well as exposure to an Order Management platform or an ERP system.
