Safety Manager

We’re seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Commercial Safety Manager to lead our safety program across multiple job sites. As a key member of our team, you’ll be responsible not only for ensuring compliance and reducing risk, but also for educating subcontractors , promoting a safety-first culture , and contributing to project proposal development with detailed safety plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and enforce company-wide safety programs and site-specific safety plans
  • Lead safety orientations and ongoing training for subcontractors, field crews, and staff
  • Conduct regular jobsite inspections, audits, and incident investigations
  • Create and maintain documentation including JHAs (Job Hazard Analyses), safety meeting logs, and reports
  • Collaborate with project managers and superintendents to ensure safety compliance throughout project lifecycles
  • Write and contribute to safety sections of project proposals, bids, and RFPs
  • Stay current with OSHA regulations and industry best practices
  • Serve as the point of contact for all safety-related issues and regulatory interactions


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of safety management experience in commercial construction
  • OSHA 30 Certification (OSHA 500 or CSP preferred)- NOT REQUIRED
  • Proven experience training and coaching subcontractors or field crews
  • Strong written communication skills for proposal writing and safety documentation
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to travel to job sites as needed
