Experienced Welder Machine Shop

We are currently seeking a skilled and dependable Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in a machine shop environment and be comfortable working with various welding processes and materials.

Responsibilities:

Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on a variety of metals, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols

Set up and operate welding equipment and machinery safely and efficiently

Conduct measurements, inspections, and quality checks to ensure precision and compliance with specifications

Collaborate with machinists, fabricators, and other team members to complete projects on time

Maintain a clean and safe work environment following shop safety protocols

Requirements:

Minimum 35 years of welding experience in a machine shop or manufacturing setting

Proficient in MIG and TIG welding; Stick welding experience a plus

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Certification(s) in welding (e.g., AWS) preferred but not required

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
