Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our team, specializing in working with large mining equipment such as Dump Bodies, Fuel Bodies, and Lube Trucks. The ideal candidate will have the ability to read blueprints and work with mild steel, particularly utilizing the FCAW welding technique in all positions.

SHIFTS :

+ Day Shift: 5a-3:30p (Monday-Thursday)

+ Weekend Shift: 5a-5:30a (Friday-Sunday) Work 36 hrs, get paid for 40 hrs

Responsibilities

+ Read and interpret blueprints accurately.

+ Perform welding tasks on large mining equipment.

+ Work with mild steel using Flux Core Arc Welding ( FCAW ).

+ Engage in MIG welding and fabrication processes.

+ Perform simple wrenching on valves, pipes, and hydraulic assemblies as per specifications.

Essential Skills

+ Proficient in welding, particularly with MIG and 4G techniques.

+ Strong experience in Flux Core welding.

+ Ability to read and understand blueprints.

+ Experience working with steel and fabricating components.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Entry-level candidates will be considered, with weld tests conducted to assess skill level.

+ Ability to assemble and fabricate components from blueprints.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Post Falls, Idaho.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 $27.00/hr.
