Handyman Contractor Rancho Rantoul Estates (1099)

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Handyman (1099 contractor) to assist with maintenance, repairs, and property upkeep at our manufactured home community (MHP). This is a contractor role, ideal for an experienced professional or small business offering handyman services who is looking for steady work within a well-maintained community.

Job Responsibilities:
Perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks.
Respond to resident maintenance requests in a timely manner.
Troubleshoot basic home and community maintenance issues and provide repair solutions.
Maintain common areas, ensuring cleanliness and safety.
Handle landscaping tasks, such as mowing, weeding, trimming, and seasonal upkeep.
Assist with home setups, minor renovations, and move-in/move-out preparations.
Ensure proper maintenance of community signage, fences, and amenities.
Identify and report potential safety hazards within the community.
Follow all local regulations, community policies, and safety guidelines.
Be available for occasional emergency maintenance requests.

Requirements:
Experience in general maintenance, home repairs, or construction
Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
Own tools and equipment
Must be able to work independently and efficiently equipment
Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work both indoors and outdoors
Must pass a background check
Must be licensed and insured
