What does this role look like?

The Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program is seeking a Facilities Electrical Engineer to join our mission in Silverdale, WA!

In this role will offer you the following daily responsibilities:

Leading management of facility projects with cost, technical, and schedule authority.
Generating, identifying, and analyzing technical
requirements and ability to translate to design.
Exercising technical authority for the design, planning, organizing, control, integration, and completion of Weapons System Infrastructure & Capabilities projects to include major facility modifications and construction projects in support of the Trident II missile program.
Developing and reviewing engineering data
packages; requirement documents, drawings, specifications, testing & acceptance criteria/procedures and cost estimates.
Planning and formulating engineering program reviews, product design for compliance with engineering principles and Lockheed Martin standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications.
Evaluating and approving proposal inquiries, design changes, specification documents and drawing releases.
Coordinating and participating in activities concerned with technical development, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.
Collaborating closely with internal and external customers and partners on the planning of activities to ensure production needs are addressed with minimum schedule impact. To be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:
Bachelor of Science from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
Professional experience in the design of electrical engineering projects,
You will need to be a US Citizen (no dual citizens), and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Experience in design, management, and implementation of facility/engineering projects from conception to completion.
Facilitating design reviews with and understanding of the adjudication and verification processes.
Understanding of Lightning Protection and Grounding System (LP&GS) requirements. Job includes, but not limited to design, test procedures, administrative documentation and support to sustain LP&GS infrastructure in compliance with NFPA780 and NAVSEA OP5 requirements.
Design, installation and test procedures for data distribution systems (including fiber, wireless and copper) for critical missile support hardware/consoles
Design, installation and test procedures for facility AC power distribution systems, in compliance with NFPA70 for critical missile support hardware/consoles
Experience preparing/reviewing the following facility engineering products: Statements of Work, Facility Design Criteria, Specification documents, and construction cost
estimates.
General knowledge and understanding of related codes/standards, e.g.; NAVFAC Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) & Unified Facilities Guide Specifications (UFGS), NFPA (70, 101, 780), OSHA, NAVSEA OP5, etc
Excellent computer utilization skills (AutoCAD, REVIT, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project)
Proven experience creating work products for design, inspection and testing activities.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate/resolve technical issues across multiple teams/customers
Professional registration or licensure - current registration as an Engineer Intern (El), Engineer in Training (EIT), or licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE)
Project Management and/or Construction Management experience in commercial, industrial, government, military or DoD facilities.
Understanding of the A&E design process and providing oversite of engineering design packages.
Experience with Lightning Protection and Grounding Systems (LP&GS) of DoD/military ordnance facilities and equipment
Experience generating and analyzing technical requirements and ability to translate to design
