- Manage projects or subprojects with limited complexity within a program or portfolio from initiation to completion.
- Have full responsibility for defining and managing scope, cost, schedule, quality, and risks to deliver on agreed project objectives.
- Prepare engineering standards, designs, and work specifications, develop project schedules, budgets, and forecasts, and select materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors.
- Work independently with limited supervision.
- Coach and review the work of lower-level professionals.
- Address difficult and sometimes complex problems.
- Lead one or several project teams of approximately 10 to 15 people in charge of main operations deliveries (Manufacturing Engineering, logistics, quality, and production).
- Develop and secure commitments on Quality, Deliveries, and Costs using the Product Development Process.
- Define and anchor resource needs with project team members and their respective Managers.
- Establish and manage project budgets.
- Participate as a project team member in cross-functional project teams, defending requirements and reporting on project deliverables.
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering required; Masters degree preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience performing in a Project Manager role, with projects driven from initiation to successful implementation.
- Knowledge and experience in SAFe Agile.
- Excellent interpersonal, coordination, and written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in risk and change management.
- PMP certification is a plus.
- Experience in working in operations is preferred.
- Strong abilities in priority setting and problem-solving.
- Good negotiation skills.
- Good planning, anticipation, and proactivity skills.
- Ability to oversee, coordinate, and juggle multiple tasks and meet tough deadlines.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $40.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
