Project Manager

We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to assist Project and Senior Project Managers with administrative tasks during the design, pre-construction, and construction phases. This role involves managing scope, scheduling, budgeting, contracts, and the out-to-bid process while overseeing the work of the design team.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the Project Management team to help manage and estimate construction projects.
  • Complete engineering projects by organizing and controlling project elements.
  • Review drawings for correctness and assemble miscellaneous details necessary to prepare job bid proposals.
  • Develop relationships with sub-contractors and interact with them to secure necessary information for job bids.
  • Support Project Manager in collecting the necessary information to complete the monthly Work in Progress (WIP) report.
  • Assist with projecting and adherence to job budget and timing of tasks.
  • Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and surfacing issues to be resolved.
  • Control project costs by recommending expenditures and administering contractor contracts.
  • Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, recommending actions.
  • Travel to job site location when necessary to review progress and provide solutions to challenges.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintain project database by updating construction systems.
  • Be available to support the Project Manager to answer any customer inquiry.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Work Environment

The work environment includes both an office setting and on-site visits to project locations. The role involves interfacing with executives and exposure to state-of-the-art data centers.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $48.08/hr.
