Commercial Construction Superintendent / Supervisor

We are currently seeking an experienced Superintendent to build a boat and RV storage facility. Applicant should have experience in all aspects of grading, drainage, water retention, tree mitigation, asphalt paving, concrete foundations and site work, metal building installation, on and off site utilities including plumbing, electrical, fire sprinklers and HVAC.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

*Manage and schedule all vendors and sub contractors
*Run in-house crews
*Obtain and qualify bids
*Ability to value engineer materials and methods
*Complete daily logs and document project including pictures
*Document all RFI's, change orders and delays in schedule
*Schedule and perform inspections
*Schedule all subcontractors, materials and deliveries
*Conduct safety meetings and ensure safe operating procedures
*Conduct site meetings with owner and his representatives
*Have a thorough knowledge of the plans and specifications
*Have command of the schedule and strive to come in early and under budget

Job requirements:

*3-5 years minimum experience in commercial construction
*Thorough knowledge of all trades, codes, regulations and sequencing
*Ability to read and build according to plans and specifications
*Computer proficient
*Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
*Outstanding organizational and time management skills
*Able to follow process and procedure
*Ability to assess situations and resolve day to day issues with cost and schedule in mind
