General Function:

This position will be 50 percent Civil Engineer and 50 percent Dam Safety Engineer. Performs professional engineering work and/or administration and consulting work in the design, investigation, and construction of street, utility, ground water, domestic water, storm water, wastewater, light systems and other public works projects. Prepares plans and specifications; and act as a project manager on assigned projects. Under supervision of the Chief Dam Safety Engineer, coordinate the safe, compliant and prudent operation, maintenance and repair of the City of Centralia Yelm Hydroelectric Project from a Dam Safety point of view.

Education and Experience:

Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in civil engineering or geotechnical engineering;

Possession of an E.I.T. or P.E. in the State of Washington;

Four years experience in Dam Safety, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering or equivalent work experience;

Valid Washington State Drivers License with acceptable driving record;

Any combination of training and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities will be considered
