You will serve as a Test Mechanic (ALAD) in the FRC Mid-Atlantic of FLTREADCEN DET MID ATLANTIC PAX RIVER.Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying. Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time.

This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. The Screen-out Element for this position is: I have the ability to perform the most difficult and complex tasks including (1) Set up and operate various stationary and portable power tools to complete work assignments; 2) Manufacture, assemble, disassemble, and overhaul installation and test of ALRE systems and components for the department; 3) Maintain and ensure safe work practices and housekeeping procedures are followed: 4) Anticipate various aircraft launching and arresting device problems and recommend solutions; 5) Read and interpret incomplete and tentative blueprint, schematic drawings, detailed Federal, Navy, and Commercial Engineering codes and specifications).
