Production Operator 2

Our client, Siemens is seeking a Production Operator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have communication skills, team collaboration and analytical thinking which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Production Operator 2 (this is a Team Lead position)

Location: Buffalo Grove, IL

Pay Range: $25.00

Whats the Job?

• Product Assembly and Operation

  • Assemble products using visual aids, blueprints, wiring lists, and work instructions; operate hand tools, machinery, and computer-controlled equipment.

• Material Handling and Workflow Support

  • Move parts and materials to ensure smooth production flow; rotate between operations and maintain work cell records.

• Quality Assurance and Inspection

  • Perform regular quality checks using testing tools and visual inspections; ensure compliance with standards and report any issues.

• System and Software Utilization

  • Use manufacturing and support software (e.g., CSB, labor tracking, BOMs) for production reporting, data analysis, and process improvement.

• Training and Process Setup

  • Train other operators and perform setup and adjustments to products, tools, and processes as needed for efficient operation.

Whats Needed?

• Blueprint & Diagram Interpretation

  • Ability to read and follow assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and ISO work instructions.

• Tool Proficiency

  • Skilled in using hand tools, electric/pneumatic power tools, and product-specific fixtures.

• Software Proficiency

  • Ability to operate software tools such as Excel , Word , PowerPoint , CSB , and Datamatics .

• Mechanical & Electrical Assembly

  • Experience with precision adjustments, troubleshooting, high-voltage wiring, rework, and repair.

• Manufacturing Documentation

  • Proficiency in following complex documentation, understanding ERP processes, and implementing corrective actions for non-conformances.
