This role combines technical creativity with hands-on precision to help bring custom cabinets, countertops, and architectural features to life!

Hours & Pay:

Pay Rate: $15.00-$19.00 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Daily Responsibilities:

• Create accurate shop drawings and specifications for woodwork projects using AutoCAD and Cabinetworks software
• Collaborate with estimators, project coordinators, and customers to ensure design requirements are met
• Prepare and revise technical drawings based on customer feedback and material changes
• Perform quality control checks and maintain documentation for all design work
• Submit samples for approval and obtain final design sign-off
• Organize, archive, and manage digital files to ensure efficient recordkeeping
• Suggest design improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
• Assist with administrative or shop-related tasks when necessary

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Drafting or a related technical field
• Minimum 2 years of experience with AutoCAD and 3D drafting
• Strong math and spatial reasoning skills
• Excellent attention to detail and visual accuracy
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work at a computer for extended periods
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments
