POSITION SUMMARY
Perfect Vision Manufacturing is searching for a dynamic Designer-Drafter to take on the responsibility for collaborating in the design and documentation of telecommunications equipment, satellite and cellular towers, site components such as antenna mounts, ground infrastructure equipment, as well as interconnect products such as cables and connectors used throughout the ICT industry.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Design, develop, and support PerfectVision's product line
- Create 3d CAD models using SOLIDWORKS
- Create product documentation, including but not limited to, manufacturing specifications, packaging specifications, 2d CAD drawings, installation instructions, engineering details, rendered images and videos.
- Create and manage product Bill of Materials.
- Translate product information to the ERP (Enterprise resource planning) system, to allow for creation and sales of products.
- Work with engineering, quality management, and supplier personnel to ensure product specifications are clearly documented.
- Work with engineering and supplier personnel to continually improve product design quality.
- Work alongside marketing to develop 3D video and 2D image content for product marketing campaigns.
- Assist engineering and marketing teams with development of trade show content.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Experience
- 2Yr Technical Degree (AAS or equivalent) in Drafting, Architecture, 3D Design, or other related field.
- General knowledge of drafting standards, such as ASME Y14.
- Able to identify key issues; creatively and strategically overcome internal challenges or obstacles.
- Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
- Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
- A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
Computer Skills
Proficient in a Microsoft Windows environment.
Advanced level of experience using Dassault Systems Solidworks.
Must be proficient in working with model and assembly configurations.
Must be able to create complex models, utilizing standard boss features, sheet metal features, reference geometry, and other advanced modeling techniques.
Must be able to create complex large assemblies, utilizing advanced mates, flexible sub-assemblies, and other assembly techniques.
Must be able to create production drawings, installation instruction drawings, and other product documentation.
Must be able to use PDM (Product Data Management) to control file versions, drawing revisions, and model states.
Must be willing to learn Solidworks Visualize to create photo-quality images and animations of PerfectVision products to assist with marketing efforts.
Intermediate level of experience using Microsoft Excel. Must have the ability to perform functions such as creating a spreadsheet, formatting a spreadsheet, using the formula bar to perform various functions, importing/exporting documents, and calculating numbers.
Intermediate level of experience using Microsoft Outlook. Must have the ability to perform professional-level functions such as composing, sending, forwarding and replying to incoming e-mail, attaching computerized files, and utilizing calendar and task reminders.
Advanced level of experience using Microsoft Word. Must have the ability to perform functions such as creating large reports, adding document references and links, and creating and manipulating images.
Intermediate level of experience using Microsoft PowerPoint. Must have the ability to perform functions such as creating presentations, adding new slides, previewing a presentation, using graphic images from various sources, adding animations, applying a template, adding slide transitions, using outlines and the drawing toolbar.
