Schedule: Day shifts, weekend availability, on-call rotation

Compensation: Competitive, based on experience ($28.00-$38.00 per hour)

What We Are Looking For

NOCO is looking for a skilled Mechanical HVAC Installer to join our expanding team. As an installer, you will be responsible for the installation of HVAC systems in commercial and industrial settings. You will collaborate with a team of technicians and engineers to ensure that mechanical installations meet the highest industry standards, working in a fast-paced and safety-focused environment.

What You Will Do

  • Install commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including air handlers, chillers, boilers, and ductwork.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to perform mechanical installations.
  • Ensure proper alignment, assembly, and placement of mechanical systems according to project plans.
  • Install piping systems, including refrigeration lines, gas piping, and condensate systems.
  • Perform start-up testing and commissioning of installed systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues related to HVAC installations.
  • Work closely with engineers and other construction professionals to coordinate project timelines and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  • Adhere to OSHA standards and NOCO safety procedures throughout all stages of the project.
  • Provide excellent customer service, maintaining clear communication with clients regarding progress and system functionality.

What You Will Need

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of mechanical HVAC installation experience preferred.
  • Certifications: EPA certification; NATE and HVACR certifications are an advantage.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of HVAC mechanical systems, ability to read blueprints, and proficient use of hand and power tools.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 100 pounds, work in confined spaces, stand for long periods, and perform physically demanding tasks such as kneeling, bending, and climbing.
  • Valid NYS License
