Team Gilbert has an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated professional to fill our Project Supervisor - CIP position. The Project Supervisor CIP reports to the CIP Manager. The primary job duties of this position include:

  • Providing strategic leadership and oversight of Project Managers in CIP including resource prioritization and allocation, performs and facilitates project management duties and ensures adherence to standard operation procedures, best practices and division guidelines for studies and projects; oversees compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and processes and standards; manages assigned project budgets and schedules.
  • Serves as liaison to departments to develop project scopes and budgets to meet long-term and short-term goals.
  • Prepares components of CIP annual program updates, including direct liaison with departments for project development and refinement of needed project scopes and costs for inclusion in the annual CIP program.
  • Prioritizes, coordinates, and manages projects within assigned infrastructure groups or areas of the Town, assuring that projects can move forward based on prioritization and resources.
  • Oversees assigned Senior Project Managers for adherence to project management standards and project optimization; ensures staff are trained in and follow best practices and Town procedures for project management standards, procurements, and contract delivery methods.

This position is an At-Will position and is FLSA Exempt - ineligible for overtime compensation.

  • 1 to 2 years as a supervisor or more than 5 years of direct project management.

Licensing/Certifications

  • Valid Arizona Driver's License
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure, or equivalent experience in design, construction, or project management.
