JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Superintendent will be responsible for the field execution of assigned construction scopes within the established budget and schedule for the overall project. Responsible for acquiring resources, coordinating the efforts and executing the work including self-performance and subcontractors to deliver projects according to plan. Provides leadership, direction, and resources to the Project Manager, Site Safety Manager, subordinate supervisors, craft workers, and project staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assisting the PM with planning, estimating, scheduling & performance tracking
• Assisting the Site Safety Manager & all workers with ensuring the work is done in a safe manner
• Organizing daily activities based on the goals of the project
• Working with the management team to improve strategies
• Supervise supervisor and craft workers for self-performed work to ensure successful execution
• Supervise contractors and consultants for subcontracted work to ensure successful execution
• Supervise the proper maintenance, safe and efficient & operation of equipment

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Minimum of 7 years Superintendent experience in large construction projects
• Experience within the Nuclear industry is a plus
• Experience with union labor is a plus
• Successful track record of completed projects and good performance reviews
• Ability to schedule and manage tasks effectively

Salary: From $130,000.00 per year

Location: NJ/PA - Onsite
