Job Type: Full Time 40 hours per week position - Monday to Friday
Shift Hours: First Shift - 6:00 AM 2:00 PM

A Brief Overview:

Assists in the management of equipment for a mid to large volume facility. Implements processes to maintain, repair, and improve equipment and systems to meet production goals and quality expectations. Delivers preventative maintenance procedures, troubleshooting guidelines, work request documentation, spare parts appropriation, and inventory control.

What you will do:

  • Acts as a top-level specialist to deliver technical support for the Maintenance area under limited supervision, referring deviations from standard practices to managers.
  • Executes tasks that may not be routine and are crucial to the progression and completion of technical support requests.
  • Establishes preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs for all systems and equipment.
  • Assesses machinery regularly for signs of wear and defects.
  • Ensures adherence to all regulatory and organizational safety guidelines.
  • Conducts most complex daily work orders.
  • Coaches more junior colleagues in techniques, processes, and responsibilities.
  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on conveyors and balers and powered industrial equipment.
  • Regular (daily/weekly/monthly) system inspections and checks.
  • Smaller adjustments and service tasks (lubrication).
  • Unplanned electrical, mechanical maintenance and repairs.
  • Electrical and mechanical diagnosis and resolution.
  • Control and adjustment of light sensors and switches.
  • Exchange and set up of mechanical wear and tear parts with rolling stock and dock equipment.

  • Various field-related tasks as directed by Management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to exercise sound judgement and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to read, write, and count accurately.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule or overtime as required, to include shift rotation.
  • Ability to work safely with and around 24 Volt, 110 Volts and 480 Volt electrical systems.
  • Read, comprehend, and interpret technical reference manuals and wiring diagrams.
  • Ability to work within a team atmosphere.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex electrical systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical systems.
  • Ability to be trained in Lock-out Tag-out procedures as an Authorized user.
  • Working knowledge of CMMS system.
  • 0-2 years of previous warehouse experience is preferred.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager/senior leadership.

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Pay Range:

The typical pay range for this role is: $18.50 - $40.55
