Project Manager Traffic Control Devices is seeking a Project Manager to assist with organizational and project responsibilities to effectively lead the project and construction team in the industries of the ITS, signing, signalization and lighting projects. Benefits: + Company Sponsored Retirement Plan + Health Insurance (Medical/Dental/Vision) starting Day 1 + Life, long-term/short-term disability insurance + Vacation Time + Paid Holidays Essential Functions & Responsibilities: + Manage and schedule crews, project progression, and resource allocation. + Collaborate with clients, project superintendents, foreman, and other construction management to determine budget and timeline of the projects. + Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers. + Create schedules for project staff and subcontractors. + Make changes in the operation as necessary to best meet construction deadlines. + Implement management techniques that are cost-effective and efficient. + Collect data and develop as-builts for projects. + Oversee safety operation of working crews. + Produce monthly billings and quantity tracking. + Access and implement safe work practices + Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following guidelines, standards and procedures set forth by Traffic Control Devices + Represent the company at meetings with project stakeholders, vendors & subcontractors. Minimum Qualifications: + Must be 18 years of age or older. + Must be able to read and interpret TXDOT design construction, standards, drawings and specifications for ITS, signing, signalization and lighting projects. + Be familiar with all operations of construction with installation, testing, integration, full operation and acceptance of the project(s). + Possess and maintain a valid DL + Computer literate with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft suite products and Adobe PDF exchange. + Excellent math and grammar skills. + Primavera Schedules & CPM Schedules a plus + Excellent project correspondence skillset + Knowledge of fiber optic cable plant construction + Must be a self-starter and team player Education & Experience + Minimum of two-year college degree in construction management, engineering, or other related field. + Business experience preferred. + Industry experience is a must with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervision role or higher. + Electrical experience a plus. Pre-Screen + Upon offer, employees may be required to subject and pass a pre-employment drug screen, background, and/or MVR check. License & Certifications: + Driver's License preferred, but not required.
