Painter Level 1

Basic Function: To efficiently carry out painting and paint-relatedduties in service to the accomplishment of specific jobs. OrganizationalRelationships: Reports to: Field Supervisor, Field Manager, Crew Leader,Job Leader Scope of Responsibility: As delegated by the Crew Leader orJob Leader. Efficiently carry out painting and paint-related duties in aprofessional and workmanlike manner. Ensure that all duties are carriedout properly and within the timeframe prescribed by Crew Leader or JobLeader. Specialized Knowledge and Experience: Must have a clearunderstanding of job-site safety. Must be able to perform most tasksinvolved with completing jobs. Must possess knowledge of products. Mustknow the definition of a properly painted surface. Safety: All employeesare required to always conduct themselves in a safe manner to ensure thesafety of Stewart Painting?s customers and themselves. All employees arerequired to attend monthly Safety Training Meetings and must have aclear understanding of jobsite safety. Additionally, all Field Crew arerequired to participate in Daily Safety Huddles. Any safety incident orinfraction must be reported to their respective Crew Leader and / orField Supervisor. Safety Requirements: PPE Lead safe practices Dutiesand Responsibilities: Understand and follow preparation procedures (i.e.sanding, caulking, sealing, etc.) Perform painting functions (e.g. paintwindow casings, door casings, soffits, fascia, Rake boards, cornerboards, etc.) according to production rates with minimal supervisionPerform spackling, glazing, wallpaper removal, and blow-out patchingMaintain a high level of cleanliness and organization Use and moveladders Maintain a full set of production tools
