Trillium Construction is currently hiring Millwrights in Dixfield, ME! Candidates will be joining a well-established, growing company that is on the leading edge of technology in the sawmill industry. This is a temp-to-hire, full-time possible position that pays $24 - $35 per hour, depending upon experience and certifications/training. Once hired on full time with company, can be eligible for pay increase, All Benefits (medical, dental, vision), PTO, Holiday, Sick Leave, among many other benefits. Shifts for this position rotate between 1st and 3rd shifts. Will typically average around 50 hours per week with an on/off rotation as well. Job Responsibilities: - Responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and mechanic al equipment - Machine troubleshooting, repair, assembly, and preventative maintenance - Reading blueprints and sketches proficiently to fabricate equipment and make modifications - Repair or replace chains, belt conveyors, gear boxes/drive chains, hydraulics & pneumatics, welding/cutting, and using power tools Apply now! Qualifications: - 2-5 years of experience in maintenance in an industrial environment is required - Trade Certification or Associate's Degree required - Strong interpersonal skills are required - Proficiency in hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting is required - Previous sawmill and welding certification are preferred - Possess experience in working with stationary equipment used in some type of production process - Ability to work 12 hours per day, rotating shifts, and on weekends - Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings Trillium has been recruiting and placing professionals for over 30 years.
