Ensure Customer Site Safety Performance Expectations are met2. Conduct Supervisory Safety Meetings and Training3. Conduct Employee Safety Orientations4. Provide guidance to Supervisors for conducting Safety training of their personnel5. Conduct regular walk through inspections of construction areas6. Identify hazardous/potential hazardous conditions; insure corrective action is taken7. Investigate personal injury and property damage accidents8. Prepare and maintain safety documentation as required by the Company, Customer or applicable Law9. Implement Hazard Communication Program & oversee industrial hygiene activities10. Issue various work permits (i.e. to confined space) as required11. Serve as the primary contact for all Regulatory inspections or visits12. Ensure medical preparedness, assistance and supplies are readily available13. Perform additional duties as assigned by VP - Safety and Area Safety Manager **SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND LEADERSHIP QUALITIES**Educational and experience requirements include: BS Degree in Safety Engineering or related discipline with three (3) to five (5) years of experience in an equivalent position. Has an initiative and a diversity mindset who is customer and quality focused. Has the ability to recognize hazards, drive continuous improvement and take immediate corrective action with strong organizational, communication (written and oral) and negotiation/influence skills. Is team oriented and has the ability to handle multiple projects and responsibilities.
