Forklift Operator Job Description The Forklift Operator will utilize forklifts, primarily standing but occasionally sitting, to efficiently move materials for loading trailers or flatbeds, transporting materials to and from production areas, and managing inventory. The role involves using a high-reach truck to access materials from elevated shelves and employing RF scanners and tracking systems. Operators will work from manufacturing information materials, lists, requisitions, and both written and oral instructions. Responsibilities include preparing completed equipment, accessories, and service parts for shipment, ensuring parts are properly loaded, and maintaining quality standards. Responsibilities Operate forklift and high-reach truck to move materials as needed. Utilize RF scanners and tracking systems for inventory management. Prepare shipments of completed equipment, accessories, and service parts. Load, unload, and move materials efficiently. Check the quality of materials and workmanship, ensuring compliance with standards. Maintain required records and documents accurately. Essential Skills Proficiency in forklift and high-reach truck operation. Knowledge of inventory management and material handling. Ability to use RF scanners or similar equipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with both forklift and high-reach truck is preferred. Capability to lift 50+ pounds. Why Work Here?
