Forklift Operator Job Description Join our team as a Forklift Operator, where you will play a crucial role in receiving and inspecting incoming raw materials. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring the accuracy of shipments using a bill of lading, especially in a lumber supply warehouse environment. Responsibilities Receive and inspect incoming raw materials using a bill of lading. Operate a forklift with precision, including loading semi trucks with curtain wall side loads. Handle material using other equipment like reach lifts. Work efficiently as a warehouse worker in a lumber supply warehouse. Pull products from racking onto a platform, ensuring safety and accuracy. Essential Skills Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience. Proficiency in loading semi trucks, particularly curtain wall side loads. Ability to lift 50 lbs when moving doors from racks onto forklifts. Comfortable using an RF scan gun for inventory management. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in woodworking or lumber product knowledge is preferred. Positive attitude and ability to follow directions. Must not be afraid of heights.
