Sheet Metal Apprentice

Punctuality and being able to lift 75-90 pounds is a must!! Fluent in English and being able to drive a truck and trailer and have a clean driving record. Most work at this point will take place in an inside A/C controlled shop. As a sheet metal apprentice you will learn layout, measuring and building of various architectural sheet metal items. We are also a production shop for various items such as drip edge and standing seam metal roofing.**Duties**-Keep the shop clean at all times-Make, stack and deliver drip edge-Learn how to and then produce things such as Chase Covers, Chimney Caps, Coping, etc.-Learn how to then do on sight standing seam metal roofing runout.-Deliver Orders and Pick up Metal for the shop.**Experience**-Reading a tape-Basic to moderate math skills-Clean driving record with the ability to pull and back up a trailer-CDL Preferred-Able to lift and move 75-90 pounds-Drive Truck and Trailer and have a good driving record.
