JOB REQUIREMENTS: Fincantieri Marinette Marine, a Fincantieri MarineGroup Company, is a progressive shipyard specializing in building shipsfor the United States Navy. We currently have an opportunity for Foremanat our Marinette, Wisconsin location. POSITION SUMMARY This position isresponsible for leading a crew of skilled trade personnel in an area ofthe manufacturing organization with responsibility for fabricationand/or assembly of product for the construction of ships. The Foremanwill oversee safety and security procedures, implements organizationalpolicies and goals, measures performance to budget and supports themanagement in budget analysis and adherence, assists in productioncontrol projects, manages work pack in accordance with productioncontrol plan, plans overtime and schedules resources as required,interfaces with management to revise project and facility objectives,understands and works within the union contract requirements. ESSENTIALDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may beassigned. Foreman will oversee safety and security procedures.Implements organizational policies and goals. Measures performance tobudget and supports the management in budget analysis and adherence.Assists in production control projects. Manages work pack in accordancewith production control plan. Plans overtime and schedules resources asrequired. Interfaces with management to revise project and facilityobjectives. Understands and works within the union contractrequirements. Must abide by and enforce all organizational policies andprocedures. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Directly supervises 1 to 30employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance withthe Company\'s policies, procedures, and applicable laws.Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees;planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance;rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints andresolving problems.
