Alternate locations may be considered on a case by case basis.Selected candidate will be supporting projects throughout the United States.Detailed Description:Provide structural engineering design for tanks, basins, pipe supports,and building facilities at water and wastewater treatment plants.Design concrete, steel, and masonry structures per IBC.Design concrete structures utilizing ACI 318 and ACI 350 for EnvironmentalStructures.Perform condition assessments of existing structures.Prepare detailed design sketches, and coordinate with designer staff toprepare BIM models and design drawings.Assist with preparing construction specifications.Coordinate structural project work with architects, process, mechanical,and electrical engineering staff.Provide construction administration support: submittal review, RFIresponses, and structural observations.Utilize Risa 3D, STAAD Pro, RAM, Enercalc and other software forstructural design.Required Qualifications:Knowledge of concrete, steel, and masonry structural design per IBC andreferenced standards.4+ years of experience in structural engineering design.B.S. degree in Civil Engineering (structural course work emphasis).Effective oral and written communication essential.Professional Engineering license.Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.Preferred Qualifications:Risa 3D or STAAD modeling experience.Experience with treatment plants and heavy civil/structural projects.Structural design experience with wastewater treatment plant or industrialfacilities; commercial design experience is a plus.Salary Range: The anticipated starting pay range for this position is basedon the employee's primary work location and may be more or less dependingupon skills, experience, and education.
