This role involves diverse welding assignments across various locations, requiring a willingness to travel frequently. Responsibilities Analyze blueprints and specifications to plan welding layouts. Choose appropriate tools and techniques for each project. Prepare materials using grinders and other tools to meet exact specifications. Perform welding tasks efficiently while maintaining high quality standards. Inspect and test welds to ensure structural integrity. Repair and maintain structural components and machinery. Keep equipment in top condition to minimize downtime. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines. Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting. Essential Skills Minimum of 3 years in stick welding, with a preference for pipe welding experience. Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Skilled in vertical, horizontal, and overhead welding. Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Committed to following safety protocols and using proper protective equipment. Clear verbal and written communication skills for effective team coordination. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Welding certification (e.g., AWS) preferred. Valid Class E driver's license (or equivalent) within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record. Strong math and literacy skills. Willingness to travel 50%-70% of the time. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $58240.00/yr. Compensation & Benefits: Weekly pay with overtime after 8 hours/day or 40 hours/week. 100% employer-paid health insurance.
