Journeyman Plumber Job Description We are seeking a skilled and licensed Journeyman Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing codes, blueprints, and safety regulations, as well as the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Interpret and work from blueprints and plumbing codes. Perform brazing, cementing, soldering, and threading to join pipes and fabricate sections of piping. Work with materials including Copper, PEX, PVC, CPVC, and ABS (Black Pipe). Collaborate with other trades on-site and communicate effectively. Perform underground and above-ground plumbing tasks, including setting drains and fixtures. Essential Skills Journeyman License for the State of Michigan. Experience in new construction plumbing for residential, commercial, or industrial projects. Ability to braze, cement, solder, and thread joints. Experience with Copper, PEX, PVC, CPVC, and ABS (Black Pipe). Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation. OSHA 10 certification. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience driving forklifts, sky tracks, extendable booms, scissors lifts, and articulating booms. Experience with blueprint reading and installation techniques. Skills in mechanical plumbing, pipe fitting, troubleshooting, and general labor. Journeyman Certification. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Holland, Michigan and Kalamazoo, Michigan. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
