NH3 Maintenance Supervisor

This onsite maintenance supervisor role at the Louisville, KY plant reports to the Maintenance Manager. Oversee the NH3 department, Ammonia Refrigeration systems, electrical systems, compressed air systems, waste water treatment systems and other infrastructure areas within all plant facilities. . Position Responsibilities Advanced knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems in food processing plants. Responsible for asset reliability to reduce downtime and assure peak plant efficiencies. Complete capital engineering design and projects with coordination with corporate engineering, production and to support contractors and vendors Direct responsibility for the refrigeration team and their performance Comply with all current and future Safety, HACCP, GMP and Food Safety Procedures. Comply with all PSM/RMP regulations Participate and maintain Process Safety Management Program. Coordinate work with outside contractors Help perform major and minor repairs on Utility Equipment (Boilers, Ammonia Refrigeration, HVAC, Air Compressors, Fire Retention Systems and Cooling Towers). Train, motivate and direct employees to follow safe work methods and standards Oversee the purchase of supplies and repair parts with regard to quality Support the plant's safety program. Comply with all OSHA safety regulations and standards Position Qualifications Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Mechanical engineering or other technical degree program. Strongly preferred Need 2 years experience in utilities with an emphasis in HVAC/R, Controls or Electrical. Can pass RETA CARO exam within 90-days. 2-4 years in NH3 with RETA CARO Certification - Ideal. 3years of previous NH3 required. Previous management experience required. Experience in food manufacturing environment. Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blueprints, schematics, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Experience with Preventative Maintenance programs. Knowledge of Electronic and Electrical principals. #LI-Onsite Compensation: Pay Range:$62,000-$91,000 The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee's actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees' equity.Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
