Welder/Fabricator

at Harris Companies, Inc. in Atwood, Illinois, United States Job Description Harris Companies, Inc. is looking for a full-time welder for the fabrication and assembly of special purpose personnel elevators, freight elevators and parts. It is important to remain current on welding certifications, read, understand, and generate drawings, be detail oriented and self-motivated. You will report directly to management and be required to work closely with others or on your own as the job dictates. Requirements include a high school diploma, a valid Class D Illinois driver's license (must be able to meet DOT qualifications) and lift 100 pounds. Ongoing education and safety training will also be required through on the job training. Reimbursements are $17-$35 per hour (depending on qualifications) with generous benefits included.
