Welder

Spherion Staffing is seeking skilled welders with experience in MIG, TIG, or Stick welding to join a fabrication shop in North Ogden. This temp-to-hire opportunity offers the chance for a pay increase upon permanent hire, which typically occurs within 90 days. Candidates will need to complete an interview and weld test to demonstrate welding proficiency.

The position offers consistent hours, Monday through Thursday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Starting pay ranges from $19 to $22 per hour, based on experience. This is a great opportunity for those looking to grow their career in welding!

Responsibilities:
*Ensure a safe working environment by using appropriate protective gear and following safety procedures.
*Select appropriate materials according to customer's specifications
*Prepare, clean and cut materials as needed
*Set up welding materials and select appropriate welding method and adjusting settings
* Use specified welding procedures to perform specific welds
*Inspect welds for quality and accuracy
*Maintain and clean welding equipment and area

Working hours: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
