Infrastructure Engineer

Role: Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Hybrid twice a week to Lake Mary, FL or Pittsburgh, PA

Must haves:

Linux
Development API Experience( Golang, Python, or Java)
SolarWinds Orion, Netscout or Prometheus

This position is a for an Infrastructure Engineer specializing in architecting and deploying enterprise monitoring solutions for the firm s compute and network platforms. This is a hands-on role working with both open source and commercial software solutions, along with developing code to integrate these solutions with parts of the enterprise ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and support efficient monitoring solutions and tools for a large complex environment
• Identify improvements that can be made in the current infrastructure tools, alerts, and processes
• Work collaboratively with other departments to efficiently and effectively deliver business goals

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with enterprise infrastructure monitoring tools such as SolarWinds Orion, NetScout, or Prometheus
• 3+ years of experience in development using languages such as Golang, Java, or Python
• Experience with Linux and Windows administration
• Understanding of Agile and other development processes and methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and organizations

Preferred Qualifications:

• In-depth knowledge working with and managing Git (Bitbucket, GitHub, AWS CodeCommit)
• Experience using messaging technologies such as Apache Kafka or IBM MQ.
