BILINGUAL SHOP METAL WORKER
Automation Personnel Services is looking for hard-working and dependable Bilingual Shop Metal Workers in Channelview, TX. In this role, you will have the opportunity to advance your career while being a key part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced logistics warehouse environment.
Starting pay : $16.00-1st Shift $16.50-2nd Shift Schedule and Hours:
1st Shift- 6:00 am 6:00 pm Monday-Friday 2nd Shift-6:00 pm 6:00 am Monday-Friday Some overtime on Saturday-6:00 am until 12:00pm Shop Metal Worker Duties and Responsibilities

• Must be able to work on Day Shift and be flexible in work hours and duties, willing to assist and cross-train in various departments.
• Experience in working with lathes or milling, manual machines.
• Proficient in the use of tape measures to convert inches to decimals, grinders, and hand-held tools.
• Load and unload items from machines.
• Place products in equipment or on work surfaces for further processing, inspecting, or wrapping.
• Remove products, machines attachments, or waste material from machines.
• Move products, tools or fixtures between storage and work areas, by hand or using forklifts or cranes.
• Be able to lift 75 lbs., and work in various positions, such as standing, bending, kneeling etc.

Shop Metal Worker Requirements and Qualifications

• Basic Metal work-related skills, knowledge, or experience is preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
• Forklift experience.
• Must know how to use a tape measure, calipers and micrometer.
• Employees must be able to pay close attention to details and thoroughly in completing work tasks.
• Excellent coordination and good physical condition
• Able to work in extreme temperatures.
