We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and execute property projects, capital improvements, and operational initiatives for our properties in Miami Beach . This role is responsible for managing all aspects of projects from concept to completion, including timelines, budgets, vendor management, and city permitting/licensing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality project management, with in-depth knowledge of Miami Beach municipal codes, zoning, and licensing procedures.
Key Responsibilities:Plan, coordinate, and manage hotel projects including renovations, repairs, new installations, and operational enhancements.
Serve as the primary liaison between ownership, operations, contractors, vendors, and city officials.
Obtain, maintain, and renew all required city, county, and state licenses and permits, ensuring ongoing compliance with local regulations and ordinances.
Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
Manage RFP processes, vendor selection, contract negotiations, and performance oversight.
Coordinate internal operational readiness for project impact, including guest experience considerations and safety measures.
Track and report project status updates, risk assessments, and financial summaries to hotel leadership and ownership.
Stay current with Miami Beach permitting requirements, construction codes, and hospitality operational standards.
Conduct site walks, inspections, and quality assurance checks to verify contractor and vendor performance.
Collaborate with hotel leadership and property engineering teams on ongoing maintenance and improvement initiatives.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum 5 years of project management experience in the hospitality, engineering, real estate, or construction sector.
Proven experience working with City of Miami Beach permitting and licensing processes .
Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred.
Strong vendor, contractor, and negotiation management skills.
Excellent organizational, budgeting, and scheduling abilities.
Knowledge of local, state, and federal hospitality compliance regulations.
PMP certification or similar preferred, but not required.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
