Position Overview
The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of wind turbine repower projects. This role involves coordinating resources, managing budgets, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within scope.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, and resource allocation. Oversee the execution of repower projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors. Foster a collaborative environment to achieve project objectives.
Resource Management: Coordinate the procurement and delivery of materials and equipment. Ensure optimal utilization of resources to maintain project efficiency.
Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Conduct regular safety audits and address any issues promptly.
Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams. Provide updates on project status, risks, and issues.
Quality Assurance: Monitor project deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and client expectations. Implement corrective actions as necessary.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in project management within the wind energy or construction industry, with at least 2 years focusing on repower projects.
Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency in project management software, Microsoft Office Suite. Must have previous experience working projects scheduled with P6.
Travel: Willingness to travel as needed for project site visits and coordination.
The pay range for this role is $60-$65/hour. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
