Farnsworth Group is seeking a Project Architect with experience in the Advanced Technology market sector, specifically focused on semi-conductor and clean room related projects, to join our leadership tea in the below posting location. In this role, you will collaborate with other senior staff to mentor, inspire and guide our team of talented Architects, grow the practice through developing client relationships and lead business development opportunities within our current and potential market sectors. Posting Location for this role: Phoenix, AZ Job Activities:
- Create, manage and produce projects for advanced technology, industrial, municipal, recreational, higher education, healthcare and other institutional and commercial clients.
- Provide the primary designer and leadership roles to our multi-disciplinary teams on projects throughout all stages, from concept to delivery.
- Mentor mid-level architectural staff
- Participate in business development pursuits.
- Generate work and create long-term client relationships.
- Developing, reviewing, and approve proposals, reports and contract documents.
- Demonstrated experience with cross-discipline collaboration.
- Demonstrated design insight and leadership.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent organization, coordination, leadership, team-building skills.
- Proven success in developing new clients and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Bachelors Degree in Architecture, required, Masters, preferred
- Registered Architect in Arizona, NCARB preferred
- 8-12 years of experience in architectural design and planning of facilities within core markets
- Detailed understanding of construction techniques and the development of final construction documents.
- Demonstrated experience developing project specifications.
- Demonstrated project management and supervisory experience.
