Assistant Project Manager - Construction

About the Role

We're seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support design and construction projects across New York State. This role offers hands-on experience in construction coordination, project planning, and contractor oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Program Managers with project plans, scheduling, and coordination.
• Monitor building construction, repair, and rehabilitation projects from planning to completion.
• Oversee contractor work, provide progress reports, and manage contract communications.
• Handle submittals, requisitions, and change order processes to keep projects on track.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management (preferred)

2+ years of experience in construction planning, cost estimating, scheduling, and resource management

Proficiency in project tracking tools (Procore, RFI tracking, forecasting, change order reviews)

Strong attention to detail & communication skills to oversee multiple projects

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
