Essential Responsibilities:
- Support project start-up by setting up job site offices, filing systems, and cost tracking tools
- Assist with billing setup, maintain project directories, and manage documentation flow
- Coordinate subcontractor and vendor processes, including tendering, invoicing, and change orders
- Track project milestones, update schedules, and support reporting with the Project Manager/Superintendent
- Manage RFIs, drawing logs, and transmittals to ensure timely communication with trades and consultants
- Facilitate project close-out by compiling warranty packages, O&M manuals, and turnover documentation
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Construction, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- One to two years of relevant experience in construction coordination or project support
- Proficient in reading construction documents and using MS Office and scheduling tools
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact confidently across teams and stakeholders
- Familiar with project workflows including RFIs, change orders, subcontract management, and close-out
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to follow defined procedures to solve problems and support team goals
Work Conditions:
- Site-based position reporting into our Missoula, Montana office
