Position

Our San Jose office is looking for a full-time MEP CAD Designer.
Job Description

Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
Designer will be assisting engineers in the design process
Working with Engineers to generate complete construction drawings per company standards
Setting up projects and file systems
Coordinating with multiple disciplines
Verification and measurements of field conditions

Qualifications

Associates or technical Degree in drafting/design/Bachelor's or be currently enrolled in a program
High level of proficiency AutoCAD 2018 or newer. Revit is a plus.
Minimum of 2 years of experience
Construction experience highly desirable
Extremely high level of attention to detail and accuracy
Strong time-management skills and an ability to prioritize and execution of requests effectively
Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
High energy, ability to multi-task, work independently, and assumes ownership of assignments
Ability to work with different personalities and varying levels of experience in the firm
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Revu BlueBeam
