We are currently hiring an enthusiastic, full-time Marine Mechanic at our Abbotsford, BC location to work on some of the top brands and manufacturers in both boats and engines!

Job Duties:
Carry out services and repairs on outboard and inboard motors in shop
Adjust, repair or replace mechanical or electrical system parts
Test and adjust repaired equipment for proper performance
Perform scheduled maintenance and service
Inspect and test engines to diagnose and isolate faults
Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor
Install electronics and accessories on new boats
Job Qualifications:
Certified Marine Technician preferred or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the field
Knowledge of marine engine and electrical auxiliary systems
Knowledge of boat steering systems
Valid drivers license
Forklift certification an asset
Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to deal tactfully and diplomatically with internal and external contacts
Excellent organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to handle a high volume of work with a calm demeanor during peak periods; ability to multitask
Demonstrate strong attention to detail
Exceptional listening, time-management, and communication skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team with an aptitude for working in a collegial and collaborative environment
Ability to walk, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods
Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces
