DIRECT HIRE – MACHINE MILLWRIGHT

Are you a skilled Machine Millwright looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity? Join a golf equipment, clothing and accessories manufacturer leader in the industry! You will play a vital role in installing, maintaining, rebuilding, and repairing essential machinery and equipment, working with mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems. We are looking for a candidate with a technical background and a minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial equipment repair.

Location: Onsite in Bedford, MA

Shift:

Weekend shift: Requires availability to work Saturday, Sunday from 10:50am - 11pm, and up to 2 shifts during the week.

3rd shift: Sunday – Thursday, 10:50pm – 7am.

***OT and Plant Shutdowns availability required

Pay: $30 – $42.5/hour plus shift differential (pay rate will be decided by the manager based on skills, experience, certifications and interview).

Job Objective: To install, maintain, rebuild, and repair machines and equipment entailing mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild all types of mechanical assemblies with proficiency and versatility, including manual or automatic systems with electric, pneumatic, or hydraulic components.
  • Perform preventive maintenance as directed by equipment schedule.
  • Troubleshoot plant production equipment by isolating and distinguishing sources of problems using prints, schematics, and communication with operators, engineers, Team Leaders, or vendors.
  • Perform simple welding, plumbing, and machining.
  • Maintain work records (work orders, PM's, Materials and parts) on a computerized Maintenance system.
  • Monitor and maintain spare parts inventory.
Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in industrial equipment repair is required.
  • Trade school diploma preferred.
  • Must have a technical background and demonstrated ability to install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain machinery and equipment.
  • Required to have own trade-related tools to perform required tasks.


Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated mechanical skills techniques.
  • Use blueprints and schematics.
  • Knowledge of plumbing and piping.
  • Use/understand measuring devices/tolerances.
  • Use various hand and power tools.
  • Learn and apply quality standards of workmanship/product.
  • Use machine tools such as drills, lathes, millers etc.
  • Ability to obtain forklift pallet-jack and/or man-lift license.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Follow manufacturing/equipment specifications.
  • Perform basic math calculations.
