FIFO Maintenance Millwright - $42 to $47 per hour - Kitimat, BC

If so, we'd love to hear from you! Our client, a global leader serving the energy industry in over 120 countries, is looking for a Millwright who is a jack of all trades to support a large-scale production facility.
As a Maintenance Millwright, you'll be a crucial and versatile asset, ensuring everything from forklifts to Industrial equipment runs smoothly. Get ready to work alongside a dynamic team in an environment hotter than a summer BBQ (full PPE provided).

Job Type: Permanent position
Job Title: FIFO Maintenance Millwright
Location: Kitimat, BC
Environment: Unionized
Rotation: 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off
Schedule: 4x12's (with potential opportunities for overtime)
Wage: $42 to $47 /hr (Based on certification and experience)

Responsibilities
What will you need to do?
- Maintaining a wide range of plant equipment, such as forklifts, hoists, and cranes.
- Performing general labor duties as required (no deductions in wages)
- Performing routine inspections, identifying any issues, and carrying out repairs or replacements as needed.
- Involves following safety protocols and adhering to maintenance standards.
- Must be able to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, identifying the root cause of problems and coming up with effective solutions to fix them.

Qualifications
Who is the best fit for this role?
- Journeyman / Red Seal Millwright ticket is an asset
- 4th year Millwright apprentices with 4+ years of Heavy Industrial manufacturing experience will be considered
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience working as a Maintenance Millwright.
- Can be physically demanding and may involve heavy lifting, working in confined spaces, and exposure to high temperatures.
- The ideal candidate should be willing to adapt to camp life, as the shift schedule requires a 6-week on, 2-week off rotation.
